Traditional Gasthof in beautiful alpine surroundings 20 minutes walk from Grunensee green tinged small lake with incredibly clear water . Great views from accommodation, especially facing mountains. rating depends on your expectations service is fine but not in your face; top floor has best views but...only reachable by stairs; food good if you like traditional Austrian fare... Excellent value and we really enjoyed ourselves with a friend to introduce us to nearby cheese and honey producers, as well as trip up side of mountain to an 'Alm' for cider and locally produced appetisers.

After being to Gruener see now for 4 times can definetly recommend this place, ac choice of food and quality is better than at the lake itself. We have come to the restaurant around 13h so it was not so crowded and service was therefore...quite fast. Soups are amazing as well is the meat and salads:D

After our walk around the "green lake" we have arrived in the gas house post in the early afternoon. the gastronomy was very crowded at this ideal out-of-flight weather.The gasthof is simple, but has delighted us with an excellent food. black roast was excellent. despite the other, all the waitresses were very friendly and there were no long waiting times. here we will certainly come back - highly recommended.

Not far away from the green sea it is also the only (of actually many) restaurant that had opened at our time in the space tragöß (at the top, Pichl-Großdorf, at the bottom) or has offered to eat after 18:00. So if you're looking for dinner in the evening, please come here. the service is flotted and friendly, even the foods are quickly on the table. still real gas house portions- so more than sufficient, even dishes for the "small hunger" make a satt. tastes everything very good and homemade, many regional food offers, typical Styrian and also specialties of the house. not quite in the typical house flat fit the prices. these are normal restaurants. in these huge proportions (and the probably now flowering tourism, because not far from the parking lot of the lake) however also understandable and completely legitimate.
