Buffet La Rapita

Just wow! I can’t believe I haven’t discovered this place before, but now I have, it will be on my ‘must visit’ list of places to eat in Sant Carles. We had the steak tartare which really was the best I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot). It was made with bone marrow at the table and was really delicious. We then had the tomahawk steak which was also outstanding. It was cut at the table and then you can cook it to your taste on a grill on your table. Served with yummy chimichurri sauce. Even the little potatoes were delicious. As other people have said, the staff were really friendly and welcoming. We met the Argentinian couple who ran it, who clearly took care in the meat/food and were keen to provide good service. We ate in the braseria, which is a separate section to the buffet. Ok, so it’s not the most beautiful romantic setting, but the food speaks for itself. I will be rushing back in fact, I’m going twice in my short trip to Sant Carles and can’t wait to visit again soon. Highly recommended!
