Sa Caleta - Sant Josep de sa Talaia

Rude, arrogant staff towards English tourists. They charged me twice for the bill because they claimed the first transaction didn’t go through, which it did and I showed them. Staff started causing a scene and making me feel like a criminal so I paid again. Asked them to call us a taxi and they just walked away from us. The worst service I’ve received.

RUDE RACIST !! We had the misfortune of having to wait for a taxi in this area after a yacht charter. We thought we’d sit and have a few drinks and a bit after a very long day and what happened Is this: The waiter was insanely rude….ofcourse only on Spanish (no English which is fine but body language speaks…..after that he put us in some corner of the place and in front of us REMOVED THE table cloth and cutlery (did he think assume we are “dirty ??!” . Then the next waiter, when we asked him for previous rude guy’s name and told him about the rudeness just pretended like he couldn’t understand anything (when it was obviously that he understood everything ….he then had the gall to lecture us on restaurants and the requirement of “consumption”. This place is UTTERLY RUDE STAFF AND POINT BLANK RACIST. Never go there….even by mistake.

We came this morning to book a table for lunch and also to get some drinks. After being huffed and puffed by the barmaid as we bought drinks from her, we ordered food. 3 starters were ordered, only 1 arrived, and then we had to remind them 40 minutes later that two were missing and that we'd also like to have our dishes: things we absolutely never received after 1h30 of waiting and multiple reminders. We were faced with twenty or so staff, each more incompetent than the last, who spoke badly, looked badly and cut us off. No effort was made to speak when we said we didn't speak Spanish, just a lot of huffing and puffing and shrugging. The staff are completely casual with their clientele, perhaps because this is the only restaurant on the cove. Remember to pack a sandwich before you come you're never better served than by yourself.

Fuimos unas amigas sin reserva y no hicieron un hueco Las paellas súper buenas y el sitio muy agradable .En un entorno precioso. Seguro q repetiré. Gracias
