Highly recommend! Very fresh and delicious ! Chirashi Don Deluxe Combination. Everything just tasted.
Got sat right away on a Sunday came in around 5:30. Looks like the flow of the restaurant is pretty smooth since their service is quick! The staff was very attentive. I really liked the vibe. It's a great place to grab quality fish/sushi with a small group or a bigger group as well. The quality of fish was super fresh. The don combos come with sushi rice underneath the sashimi, and it was delicious. I will be recommending this location to my friends in the area!
Rantei Japanese Cuisine has a free parking lot as well as a decent amount of street parking nearby. The restaurant is not hard to miss. Walking in, it's a bit cramped and our party of 8, with registration, sat in a somewhat isolated booth where we had to take off our shoes. At the table, there's a leg space area which is njce. This review is just based on the food I ordered and I plan on coming back for the Kaisen Don or another speciality to give an update on my reviews. I ordered a dragon roll, a lion king roll, and had some of the nigiri set. The rolls were small and there wasn't much flavor. The texture of the rolls were very soft and the shrimp tempura didn't have much of a crunch. These rolls were in the pricier side for the quantity/quality. The nigiri set was good overall. The fish was fresh and the rice had great consistency and vinegar ratio. Overall, it was an okay experience but I plan to try one of the box sets. I would give this a 3.5/5 if I could.
