However, the food was a bit underwhelming. We tried the platter with ham, lomo, chorizo, and salchichón, and I have to say my expectations were not met—the ham was just average, to be honest. So in my opinion, based on the taste, I wouldn't come back here for the food.
We were pleasantly surprised by both the quality of the dishes and the friendliness and excellent service of the waitstaff. The patatas bravas, iberian secret pork, and cheesecake were all skillfully prepared. The prices are reasonable for such an amazing spot in Madrid.
An amazing discovery in this central part of Madrid, right next to the Literary Quarter. The quality of the food and the attentiveness of the waitstaff were impressive, especially considering how touristy the area is—this restaurant does not cater to that stereotype based on our experience. Prices are on the higher side, but the prime terrace location justifies it. It was packed on the night we visited, and we had to wait for a table. I would definitely recommend it and plan to return when we come back to Madrid. The jamón platter, croquettes, and baked nachos were all fantastic. The mojitos were top-notch!
