We have been coming to Newport seafood for over 20 years. The food is amazing. The calamari is hands down the best I have ever had. The ordering and wait staff can be a bit fast and furious but the food is worth the frenzy. If you have a big group; splurge on the lobster and crab dishes, they are quite spectacular!

Oh, I am definitely coming back here. Just finished my first meal at Tan Cang. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff was welcoming. Also, the menu here is enormous, so there will be plenty to try in the future! Got the crispy duck and vegetables deluxe tonight; they were both excellent. The dining room is spare, very simple, but do not let that fool you!

Ordered house special 4lb lobster with tip tax $172.00

We came as a group of 8 right before dinner rush at 6 pm. Got day right away. Servers were on top of things and they had runners and bus boys too. Food was prepared fresh and everything tasted great even the fridge tofu which I'm usually not one to order. The online negative but may be a oversight was the portions for the bo luc lac was so small it barely was enough for one person. I would highly recommend orderings from the family menu to get your money's worth. 5 lb Lobster with double portions garlic noodles were great but strap for $130 alone for that dish. Overall will come back but do family style menu for each less
