Reliable Szechuan fare. The crispy chili fried chicken is superb. The cumin chili lamb is savory and spicy, with no lingering aftertaste. The right amount of peppercorns makes for a delightful experience without overwhelming the palate for those who enjoy Szechuan cuisine.
I ordered the spicy cabbage, as well as the frog and shrimp fried rice. While the fried rice was only mediocre, the other two dishes were fantastic. The frog had a wonderful texture and a delightful spicy flavor profile. Surprisingly, the cabbage turned out to be my favorite dish. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I also recommend trying the yogurt in Beijing; it's just a sweet yogurt, but it really helps balance out the spices in the meal.
Place was full when we reached, so we had a good feeling about it. Good place to get hot food in a cold night. Ordered the spicy double cooked pork noodles and handcuffed dumplings in chilli oil. The servings were generous and the food was good. Service was fast and didn't have to wait long for our orders.
This is the best Szechwan dishes I’ve ever had in CA. The food is ready in 15 minutes. Highly recommend here!!!
