This was a long overdue visit and it was well worth the wait. From the moment we were greeted to the last of the coffee and dessert, everything was excellently done. We started with the duck confit rillettes that was served warm. Then we paired a classic Cesar salad(it had lovely bocorrones) with a special beef tenderloin (cooked to a perfect medium rare. Finished with delectable profiteroles with house made gelato. The staff was exceptional. We can't wait to return.
We used the open table app to make our reservation, it worked very well and as we arrived early we're able to choose our seating, we chose the bar near the kitchen opening , Best seat in the house ! Loved watching the staff create the plates before coming out. Started out with a couple of draft beers they had Guinness, 805 blonde ,Stella, and a local Russian River brew Pliny the Elder.they have a nice selection of Appetizers we chose to pass and save our appetite for the main course. We chose the Flat Iron Stark with green peppercorn cream sauce served with Brussels sprouts and Pomme Frites, absolutely the best French fries ! And a generous amount to boot.I ordered the Stuffed pork chop with Asian pear chutney ,cooked to perfection with light Marsala cream sauce. It was delicious. Service was top notch restaurant is cozy and nicely lit. Highly recommend this quaint spot I will add they also have patio dining
I do not recommend ordering the chicken cordon bleu as it was very dry, almost like it had been reheated. I had to send it back, but they did give me a 50% discount on the meal.
The food is consistently excellent and the service is unmatched in Sonoma County. I could eat at this restaurant 2-3 times a week!
