The Blue Heron @ Sunrise Springs Resort

Having just returned from a two night mother/daughter trip at Sunrise Springs, I can say that the property and staff are exceptional.

Such a great relaxing oasisI spent three nights here with my mom on a getaway.

Where should I start? This place is so beautiful! My husband and I decided to stay at this resort for our anniversary, and it was worth it.

Crab dip was below average but steamed prawns were great. The server never cleared the table before bringing more food out. Then the runner looked confused when I asked them to remove the dirty plates first. My husband noticed that the building was under negative air pressure caused by the hood of the kitchen hood (sucked in doors of the kitchen parlor) which caused hot, humid outside air to enter the restaurant when the outside doors opened. Sit away from the doors if you want air conditioning. Outdoor seating looked nice and led to a long pier on the water.
