Convivo Restaurant Bar - Santa Barbara

Have been here several times. Consistently very good. Fresh and seasonal produce etc. Pasta delicious. Martini was only half full glass for $18 was a little disappointing but would visit again

We made a reservation for 8:00 pm and asked for an inside booth. The host walked us past empty booths and seated us right in front of the kitchen where it was noisy and they were rolling up silverware etc. The waiter and waitstaff were pleasant. The food portions are small. The house made pasta was delicious as were the pizzas.

Horrible service. They were so rude and did not come to check on us at all. Waste of money do NOT go here. We were there for 1 plus hour, and I finished my drink in ten minutes and I did not get a second one.

Great service with professional staff working and they always appear to be very happy and smiling. Our waiter Jaime kept the wonderful coffee flowing and was constantly asking us if we needed anything. Connected to their guest wifi as my T-Mobile Internet connection from phone is not available in the area. My only recommendation would be to stabilize the blue seating back part of the seats so they don't move around from other tables sitting back. You can feel the others sitting back and pushing you forward. I recommend eating outside until they remedy the problem. It's quite annoying, but not enough to complain. The food is really good. We had multiple dishes and shared with each other. There is free parking a few blocks away at the soccer fields and they also have valet.

We go out to eat at a lot of restaurants. There was very few options of pastas. $18 kids meal is pretty steep when you are bringing 3 kids. Also the options for dessert was not very good. We ended up going to a gelato place for dessert. We paid $119 plus tips for 3 pizzas and an appetizer size meatballs which would have not been a big deal if we loved the food. The chef is not open for making things like classic Italian pastas if you ask. The restaurant looks beautiful and is located by the ocean. Amazing view but will not go back.
