Cubaneo - Santa Barbara

The food was excellent, and the yuca was amazing and perfectly fried. The sandwiches were delicious, and we were really grateful they were open late when we arrived. I just wish the drink we ordered had a better quality of alcohol and wasn’t pre-blended, but that’s alright.

We decided to try the little cubanito sliders, mariquitas, and yuca frita from the Cubaneo window. The cashier was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well. Just a few minutes after ordering, our food arrived, and it was absolutely divine—fresh, hot, and perfectly seasoned. We also ordered a few cocktails, and even though there was a mix-up with our order, they tasted fantastic, so we decided to keep them. The staff were not only friendly, but the atmosphere was fantastic too—great music, clean and airy space, and comfortable seating. The staff members who came by asking if we needed anything else were also fantastic. Overall, I can't wait to return every time I'm in Santa Barbara!

Incredible Cuban cuisine! We tried the Plato Mixto and the Pobrecito sandwich, and both dishes were exceptional. Every item was crafted with care and attention to detail. The mojo pork roast was tender and flavorful, the black beans were rich and savory, the avocado salad had a delightful tang, the maduros offered a sweet hint of cinnamon, and the crispy yucca fries, served with a delicious garlic cohoyo dipping sauce, were fantastic. As for the Pobrecito sandwich, the zesty cilantro chimichurri sauce complemented the juicy shrimp and crunchy roll perfectly.

It was a chilly day in Santa Barbara, but the sky was clear and the sun shining brightI had wanted to walk. After walking around I was hungry of course . I wanted some Spanish food. I discovered Cubaneo! I love Cuban food like who doesn’t?

The Pina Colada is a SIX star drink. The rest I will have to try and update you on. Mixology is a strength here and I recommend you come and try. Service is definitely good. I wish them all the best and will becoming back soon. When I can try the whole menu.
