The Press Room - Santa Barbara

This spacious neighborhood bar has a wide selection of beer and tasty snacks. The atmosphere is lively and the staff is welcoming and attentive. I will definitely return the next time I'm in town. While some of the regulars may seem a bit eccentric, they are harmless as long as they are treated with respect.

If you're a football fan, this is the perfect spot for you! While it is a Manchester United pub (ugh), it is the place to watch real football in Santa Barbara. The service is quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. They don't serve food, but there are several great restaurants nearby. They have a wide selection of beers on tap and pour a solid shot. Football enthusiasts will definitely enjoy their time here!

The restaurant may have changed since 2001, but I believe it has remained the same: very relaxed.

We showed up here on a Saturday night and it was empty. Once we got inside, it all made sense.Jack (the owner) and his other mate in flip flops with webbed feet should not be in the customer service business. They were arrogant, abrasive, and Jack filled the entire venue with the smoke from his tomato flavored electronic cigarette. If you’re looking for a good time with a nice atmosphere and great customer service, go across the street to Dargan’s.With all that said, Darryl (working the front door at the time) was absolutely wonderful. He’s the only good thing Press Room has going for them. Cheers.
