Paraíso Caño Hondo

Great cozy hotel. Do not expect too much from it, basic food and service, but very nice rooms, craved in the real stone.

We like to get away from the resorts, so my wife and I rented a car for a week. We ended up in Miches and talked to some friendly locals that highly recommended this spot for a few beers and a refreshing swim. It was fantastic if you want to get away from the tourist trap areas of DR. All natural rock formed into small pools. We paid roughly $10 in CDN funds for a day pass that included parking. Wish we would have arrived earlier in the day to take advantage of the entire property. Would definitely rent a room and spend a few days next time were traveling in that area of DR.

Hided in the forest, crossed by a river, surrounded by all the nature you will find this paradise. The place is plenty of activities for keeping you amazed in adventures all day. On site restaurant with good food. The best attraction is the river; they have made several natural pools around the whole property, so you can find your preferred spot.
