When I entered I was surprised to see no one but one couple sitting there and enjoying their meal. I would have to guess that this is a bit far from the working class crowd and is not chanced upon so often as the other restaurants up north. The food was okay and it still needs to improve much on taste and service.<br/ <br/ Items on my order:<br/ Conjivaram Idly, Sambar Vada, Pesarattu, Tea<br/ <br/ Rating:<br/ Food 3/5 (Much improvement needed.. tasted just okay, tea was not great at all have never been able to get good Indian Milk tea anywhere outside India)<br/ Service 4/5 (Empty place and still the person who takes orders is always in the kitchen.. how about that)<br/ Value for money 4/5 (Not that expensive but still on the higher side)<br/ Ambience 5/5 (Definitely different)
Authentic Food from South India. The food is excellent ! They carry some unique dishes and desserts. The service is very good. My favorite items are mysore masala, cashew pakoda and Amrata kala. I also like the bisibele, tamarind rice here. Though it is a vegetarian restaurant, the food is so tasty ....you will never miss your meat!<br/ <br/ The atmosphere in the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. <br/ <br/ This is my favorite Indian restaurant!
Dasaprakash is a great restaurant if you're looking for quality Indian food. The service was great, despite coming in a bit late they stayed open for us and served us well. You have to try the South Indian thali if you're hungry quantity is plenty and it's absolutely delicious. Very hygienic place, plenty of seating, and a nice ambience makes the restaurant a great place to eat at, whether it be with a big group, couple, or even yourself. Coffee is served in large cups and tastes really good. Try Dasaprakash if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!
Good ambience, clean and quality food. Food is served with smile. This place is my fix for my cravings for Dose(dosa) and typical Karnataka taste. Coffee is so close to Filter Coffee prepared back home. Rasam is a must to have in winter days.
Ok, I didn't read the reviews prior to visiting this place so my experience was different from the negative ones. Of course, I only ordered togo. I felt the food was really fresh and authentic. I ordered pulav with korma, South Indian thali. Both were piping hot and tasted great. I also bought the dosa batter which was better than the ones in stores. I do agree that the restaurant had very few customers both times I visited but that did not reflect on the food quality. The owner seems talkative and speaks ill of other restaurants in the area which I think is unwanted.
