Contribuisci feedbackThis is one of the few Korean restaurants in the Bay Area that still uses charcoal instead of propane, which really enhances the flavor of the food! They offer a great selection of bonchon, and the meat sauces are delicious too. The service is very efficient, and there's plenty of parking available.
I absolutely love the table-side BBQ experience where every piece of meat is grilled to perfection! We were so focused on enjoying our food from beginning to end. The service is exceptional and completely justifies the prices they charge. The cold, refreshing buckwheat soba noodles are the perfect complement to the savory BBQ meats.
Wow! After all these years, I realize I’ve been experiencing Korean BBQ the wrong way! This restaurant uses coal for grilling, and it truly makes a difference. The smoke from the coal infuses the meats with incredible flavor—something you might not appreciate if you’ve only had gas-cooked meats at other Korean BBQ spots. Yes, it’s a bit pricey, but it’s comparable to other Korean BBQ places. If you love Korean BBQ and haven’t tried this yet, you owe it to yourself to give it a shot!
Very few places use charcoal for BBQ, most use gas. I prefer the sweet smokiness and char you get from Hansung's charcoal BBQ heat on the galbi. All entrees are excellent as well! Great for groups, but a reservation is essential on weekends.
This is a hidden gem. The only Korean bbq place that I can find with charcoal grill. The aroma is so good and the quality of meat is excellent. The service is best in town and everyone there is so friendly and helpful. Just not sure why it is not as popular as Jang Su Jang, or Changdum. I love the place.
