Racks Sta Rosa - Santa Cruz

Poor service. We ordered 14 pieces of onion blocks as an appetizer, but were only given 2 very small sauce portions for the whole batch. When we requested more sauce, we were told they only refill. We were then instructed to split one block and pour the first set of sauce on one side of the dish, with the sauce dish immediately refilled for the other half of the block. The same process was repeated for the second block of sauce. At 245 pesos per onion block, it was frustrating to have to ration the sauce for 7 people. This immediately ruined the dining experience for everyone. Do you not have enough sauce to go around?

While shopping on Wednesday, we decided to have lunch at this restaurant that offers Weekday Specials. The special for the day included a Soup Salad combination and a Surf Turfplatte. The mushroom soup was incredibly tasty and rich with a generous amount of mushrooms. The salad was fresh and came with a unique strawberry vinaigrette dressing that had a slightly sweet flavor. However, the highlight of the meal was definitely the surf and turf dish. The fish (Dory) was exceptionally fresh and perfectly cooked, while the pork ribs were so tender that they didn't even require a knife to cut through. The broccoli and cheese side dish was also delicious. To top it off, the Weekday Specials came with a choice of a Free Dalandan Cooler or Pink Lemonade, which were the perfect refreshing drinks after a hot afternoon of shopping.

Enjoy a meal with your family at this restaurant. Be prepared to wait for a table, as it tends to get busy. We ordered the family package which included beef, pork, and chicken. The service was good and the food was delicious.

We went here to get some ribs and we were NOT disappointed! If you want ribs, the SLIDE from the bone and melts in your mouth... this is the place to go!

Great and authentic Japanese comfort food. Value for money. Their ebi tempura was crispy and tasty. The California maki was fresh and yummy. The decor of the place was in keeping with the food. Service was also good, considering that we were there after lunch...hour.
