Contribuisci feedbackI used to avoid eating at this restaurant because the portion sizes were very small. However, I was pleasantly surprised today! Both my veggie bowl and my wife's chicken bowl were filled to the brim, reminiscent of portion sizes from 1996. It seemed like there was double the amount of meat compared to before.
I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The manager working on the morning of July August 8th was completely to blame. When I arrived at 11 AM, the place was in a horrible state - nothing had been cleaned, there was old food and chicken left on the tables, floors, and seats. The soda station was also dirty and not stocked. The staff members were rude and slow to help me when I asked for assistance. After waiting over 15 minutes for basic items like ice, napkins, and a lid for my drink, my food had already gotten cold. The manager and two other employees were hiding in the back, leaving the work to a young man who was the only bright spot in my visit. These incompetent employees, including the manager with red hair, a bulky appearance, and a young brunette woman, need to be replaced. The owners of this establishment should know that they have the most disgraceful manager and staff in Santa Cruz. Even the 41st/Capitola location offers a better experience, which says a lot.
I wish I could give this restaurant a zero rating. They charged us $7 for guacamole, but then said they had none available. After receiving a refund, I looked to my left and saw them serving a massive portion of guacamole to another customer. When I asked if I could purchase some of that guacamole, the cashier kindly agreed, only to be rudely interrupted by the manager who explained that it was only available for delivery orders. This was incredibly frustrating and ridiculous. The manager, who claimed to have years of management experience, was a joke. I feel sorry for the staff who work under her. They skimped on my rice and did not give me enough food despite me asking multiple times. The restaurant was dirty and to make matters worse, the fountain drink I ordered had no syrup in it. This place is a disgrace and gives Chipotle a bad name.
I usually enjoy Chipotle, but this time was disappointing. The rice in my burrito was hard and undercooked. Plus, there were homeless people outside asking for food, which made the experience uncomfortable. Not what I expected from my visit.Never coming back!!!
Went to this location just before 9:30pm, they close at 11. Food was almost gone and they didn't want to make more. One employee who was refilling the flatware was wearing gloves, but he was busy playing on his phone while wearing the gloves, then he touched all the flatware with his dirty gloves while refilling. They closed off half the store and made everybody in there squished in the front.
