Moe's Alley - Santa Cruz

Can’t beat Moe’s for character and closeness to the acts. Plus they’ve upgraded the patio with speakers and a stage video monitor so if you step out for a breather you can stay with the music.

Place is great for shows. Awesome outside area for entertainment. Great working staff. All around great place to be.

Love it, love it, love it! Been to Moe’s Alley before the pandemic and it was great then. However, the place was always packed to the point of not being able to move. The live music bands both then and now is very well chosen. Just revisited Moe’s Alley again recently and it was a completely different but awesome experience. The place has been remodeled a bit in the back patio. The BEST part was it not being overcrowded! Definitely recommend!!

The new outdoor seating area has completely transformed the experience at this venue. The two new owner-partners are truly dedicated to making this legendary spot even more special. Be sure to catch your next show here! One suggestion for improvement would be to offer more local beers, particularly at least one amber, brown, or red on draft. The highlight of the new ownership and renovations is the cleanliness of the bathrooms—it's a noticeable upgrade! Without a doubt, this is the best venue to enjoy a live act in Santa Cruz.

The new outdoor performance area at Moe's Alley, known as 'The Yard,' is absolutely charming! It's sunny, well-lit, and cozy in all the right ways, with thoughtful attention given to the stage setup. The colorful mural adds a lovely touch! Moe's really shines with the fresh air!
