The burrito was only partially warm and some parts were cold. It would have been better if it had been heated up a bit longer.
I believe that this restaurant serves some of the best burritos in Santa Cruz.
A friend recommended this place, saying it was the best taqueria in SC. He also goes there every week. I hadn't the chance to go until recently. The people behind the counter are genuine, and the place is generally busy. They had no problem with me staying to down a burrito, one of the times I went there, because my blood sugar was so low, and just ignored me and I them. The salsas I tried were excellent. I've tried the spicy green, and the green in the squeeze bottle that is just sitting on the counters. Both are delightful. The chili verde burrito was just what I needed, and I was very pleased. The first chile relleno burrito I got was a revelation, and my taste buds were, I admit, overexcited to return. The second one was marginal, and required more salsa to amp it up a bit. That's ok, and I will keep returning and trying more things and seeing how it does. I'm overall pleased with it. One slight problem was I ordered the first burrito sopa, for here, but was given it dry, to go. I wasn't being particularly picky, so I just ate it. Didn't really bother me.
We expect businesses to honor coupons as they are required to do when they sign up for a discount coupon offer. It brings additional customers to them and they end up making more money as a whole than they would otherwise have done. We were disappointed that this business did not honor the valid coupon we presented, so we walked out.
