Took us over 2 hours to get our food. The waiter is the only one that did a great job. Everybody else was awful and i mean awful. Most of the time everybody else was on the phone doing absolutely nothing . Will never and i mean never will ever come back. It came to a point that one of the people at our party actually had to go to the kitchen and get our food.when we spoke to the manager in charge she blamed everybody else. Except the biggest problem was her inefficient way of doing things.
It is a really nice and comfortable hotel. it's new, but sweet! I enjoyed a lot!
There is easy access to the ocean through what appears to be private property, but it is not really a great place to swim. The rooms are nicely appointed, and the stickers still on the appliances make everything seem “new”. Looking closer though, the ocean air has taken a toll on things like door locks Great attention to detail by the management, and not a speck of dirt anywhere. The pool and restaurant are immaculate, Very friendly and earnest staff who inexplicably forget things like utensils at dinner and soap in the bath, so it seemed Ike we were always needing something, and my Spanish is pathetic. Then, the hot water stopped working during our visit so we had cold showers and their explanation was way outside my ability to comprehend. Whatever. Hot water is kind of a basic amenity. I didn’t want to hurt them by demanding a refund, or even writing a bad review, but that was really really unpleasant. They apologized, but didn’t offer any solution. It wasn’t fixed overnight and we left without showering. There were Hardly any other guests at this, or any of the hotels we stayed at the week leading up to Christmas. In fairness, the only one with a fully working shower was the Radisson in downtown Santo Domingo, but oasi encantada was the most expensive even if a bargain compared to U.S.A. Prices.
We used the pool and food service and it was a good time. beer was a bit warm, but the waiter brought a very cold one around the second time.
Nice pool, lovers of chicken croquets
