A cozy and clean place for dinners and lunches with family and friends. Excellent vegetarian, non vegetarian (seafood also) food with just the right flavors and good portion size. Alcohol served. Staff is caring and courteous.
Great Indian food! Nice to have something non-Bolivian. ; We really like the Paneer Tikka y Chicken Tikka Masala.
Really good food and location, the design is good. I have been there many times and it's recommended. They prepare buffet in some special occasions , really good opportunity to taste many new flavors.
Maharaja...although I was only one time... I had taken the crown of the best Indian restaurant in Santa Cruz...maybe all Bolivia (there are containers in La Paz...Before I went to Ambika...and it was very good. But problems start this year there. It's not with your food... there are nice people there too. They're carrying too much. Especially your rice Basmati. He has the option to eat flat and very small cups of regular rice for 10bs...but if you want basmati rice...50-60 bs... and as I said the portions were always amazing little girl. Although it is not in the menu.Majaraja has Basmati rice..and although it seems to be put the flavor in the food(sad you I was a dress... that flavor of licorice is not left in your basmati...but as I said, it was in my chicken korma and my wife's with her tikka masala...majaraja is a bit cheaper, load the same for any rice... biryaniciones is a great option too... ACCEPTAN TARJETS OF CREDITO! Thank you!!!! This good to know that when you spend 200-600 bs... you'll be funny and give you that choice. Ambika doesn't accept cards anymore, and they must... their food... although good... it's already overprice. If I want to treat my family to a good dinner... I don't want to take ar 1000bs. And if you charge so much... you should know it's easier to pass a fake ticket than keep accepting cards. I don't pass fake bills... but you can see that fool is. If they have a full room house, they're lucky. I was told I already had to tell many people (most wearing plastic are not tourists... they are national or married family like me. Also Majaraja have better samosas and double size. Ambika has real basmati rice. What's more ironic is now so they sell it from home bags... if you want it, you have to take a lot of Bolivians. Your problem. Excuse me for leaving more an angry ambika magazine (they try to trick me the first time I was... call me ahead to know if they accept Visa... they say if...of course when I try to pay... they say I'm sorry...our machine doesn't work at the moment...it was a lie. Then Maharaja is the best thing in Santa Cruz!...tarjeta or no!!
