Absolutely great bar/restaurant. directly on the promenade overlooking the sea, eating fab and drinks and a really cheap price. there is the choice for everyone and since we have a few Fussy eaters in our group we all managed to get a good choice here. the personal is great with the owner always in front of place and all so welcoming and friendly, it always makes a difference and is what allowed us to come back. brand john really tried and remembered the children's names, including the names of the teddies, thank you!

What's in a name? The signage outside says English caf , the till receipt calls it Nautilus Beach Caf. The former is a better description and exactly why we'd popped in rather than face the daily breakfast bun fight in our hotel. Hailing from near Blackpool...we can spot end of the season weariness when we see it and being the end of September that's what came across here. Nothing actually wrong but no added extras such as a smile! It's a prime promenade site and certainly ticks its English caf box. Who are we to complain about that we just wanted toast and scrambled eggs with coffee and orange juice. Not a lot to go wrong there and certainly no quibble with the prices (coffee euro toast/butter/marmalade euros Maybe next time we'll try it earlier in the season and get a smile too?

When I travel I like to eat what the locals eat, however, sometimes I'm in the mood for something familiar comforting. Nautilus delivers this in spades, an extensive English menu covering full English breakfast options, baked potatoes, English omelettes, tea coffee, pages of...it. We're a family of who had spaghetti Bolognese, omelettes, baked potatoes, all of which was great. We're going back again this week.
