Atrisco Cafe - Santa Fe

Yum, yum, YUM! The new Mexican food is authentic. The bowl of green Chile and beans was perfect. The tamale plate was divine! We sat at the bar and enjoyed a visit with the bartender and other guests. Fun!

True place, in DeVargas shopping center, owned by a branch of the family that Tomasitas has from the station. Friday special was sawed Tilapia plate with sawed squash and tomato rice. Oh, and a sopapilla. Absolutely delicious! (Secret could be more butter, but definitely worth it.

Great experience on Sunday here. The first time in more than three years and yet another consistent dining area. In fact, that was one I forgot how crowded it is always. First I thought I had to return later and then I had an A-HA moment of order to go and eat in a quiet mall room. The hostess and hosts were wonderful and punctual. Precise order and presumption of ready time Spot-on. I ordered half nachos for a good price and everything was delicious and included. I could make two meals of the nachos this day. Thank you very much and will return the next time ideally with friends and enjoy the lively crowd at a table or place at the bar.

It is a great restaurant with good food, margaritas and a friendly staff. My only complaint is that there is a mistake on the crossword puzzle. The word fish appears twice, but there is not the word "fruit"? I spent 15 minutes with it.

Atrisco serves good New Mexican cuisine, and the prices are reasonable. The rellenos I had were a tiny bit overdone on the outside, but still tasty!
