We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food and decent prices. We were a worried it might be a little smoky, but nothing noticeable in the restaurant, after short walk through the slightly smoky casino.
I'm not much for casinos but when my dad wants to throw some money their way who am I to complain? Instead, of wasting my hard earned money on slots I I seek out the eateries, looking for donuts! I stopped at the hostess stand at Cottonwood Kitchen to glance at the menu. All the noms sounded good so I decided to step in, have a seat near the huge picture windows and explore the menu since I have plenty of time on my hands! Wow! That's a rarity in my busy life! It was a tough choice for me! I was stuck on two plates. The seafood cobb salad or the Chopped Chile Chicken Salad! What to do...what to do?? While I was trying to decide on my dish for the night I had excellent service from the koolest server!! Darn, I should have asked her name! Who doesn't love to be #yelpfamous! She answered all my Foodie questions! I chose the Chopped Chile Chicken Salad!! I won't go into too much detail because it is so good you all need to stop by Tesuque Casino and try it! What I will share though is that it's big enough to feed a family of four! Ok ok I exaggerate maybe it's a family of three! Through my questions to my server I found out they use local ingredients in alot of their dishes including this delightful salad! You know the NM Donut Kween is all about #thinklocal #supportlocal #buylocal #eatlocal so to find out the tomatoes and greens are locally grown has made my heart happy!!! Next time... I'm ordering the Prime Rib! I hear it's pretty darn good!! *wink* Folliw me on insta: @nmdonutkween
The best kept secret in town. My husband and I as well as other family and friends have eaten at many 4-5 star restaurants in Santa Fe and this should be credited as being one of the best restaurants in the area. The food never disappoints; the chicken is beyond delicious, the prime rib has always been prepared perfectly and the staff is always well informed about the menu items and are friendly.
Went there for my birthday and sat in the patio, which I prefer because the inside of the restaurant is too loud with all the casino noises. The views are beautiful! The service was good and prompt, I had the 2 lbs of crab for $25 (available only on Fridays) and it was delicious, and truly a bargain for the price. We had the meat candy as an appetizer which was delicious pork which melted in your mouth with some sweet sauce. Will go back for sure!
Had a lunch on this Cottonwood Kitchen restaurant inside the Tesuque Casino in Santa Fe. The location is good and accessible being away from the downtown yet a quick nice scenic drive for under 10 minutes. Next door is the Santa Fe Opera House. The ambiance is superb with nice views outside. Food is excellent and staff are friendly. Highly recommended!
