We came here on a Thursday evening and we're seated right away (lots of empty tables). Service was great. Our waters never ran low, and our server was really kind and helpful. The chips and guac are SO good. The chips come out warm and seasoned, which we thought was a really interesting and flavorful touch. The guac had just a bit of spice and we cleaned out the bowl! The salsa was just ok, not spicy or anything special. I got the Al pastor burrito, which I had never tried before. The sweet savory taste was really interesting and good. I had it with red Chile. The only thing I didn't love about my meal was the Spanish rice seemed pretty bland. My husband had the Santa Fe burger which was cooked well and came with a special sauce and onion rings. Overall, we'd come again!
Super disappointed considering the rave reviews. Dark, loud, and crowded. Expensive for what you get. Service was disorganized and inattentive. There's no chip service chips and salsa are an additional charge. We got enchiladas and the Al pastor tacos. The tacos were very expensive and unimpressive. The enchiladas were about the same; I had about two three bites and decided it wasn't worth the calories. The server did not ask me if I wanted a box before she cleared my full plate. Overall, very disappointed. I've had so much good Mexican food in New Mexico, and this wasn't it.
Worst place to go to in Santa Fe services sucks owner was rude place stinks bathroom smells like **** and **** roaches in the bathroom they need shut him down
Ok, ok, here me out. I dont like trashing local establishments. As a matter of fact, go check my other reviews before you continue reading. Done? Ok. Don 't go here. As a local norteño I 'm telling you there are better locations only a 5 to 10 minute drive from downtown that are way better, for half the cost. The fantastic staff and the friendly bar tender are their only saving grace. That is what saved them what would have been my only 1 star review. My advice as a local you ask? Drive 10 minutes away to Total Wine and More, buy a $40 bottle of El Tessoro Reposado, then drive 5 minutes to either El Chile Toreado or El Parasol and buy some of the best Mexican and Northen NM tacos, respectively, that you will ever eat. And easily save yourself $100. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
