We loved this place! From check in to check out, it was fantastic! Ricardo, the manager went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay. Star, the checkin person was so helpful as well. The room was spacious and clean and the property was immaculate. We also loved the location, easily walking to the plaza and all it has to offer. We loved the Margarita tour and the ease of getting around. All in all, it was a wonderful trip! Thanks guys!!
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms and entire property is very unique. The breakfast was excellent with traditional fare of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. In addition they had a good variety of fruits and other foods. We enjoyed listening to the music combo in the bar/ restaurant. There were two negatives. The vanity lighting wasn't very good in the bathroom and the number of parking spaces were totally inadequate. The location close to the Plaza and other old town spots is great. All in all it is worth the visit.
We were coming into town and did a quick search online. Picked this place due to their low rate and location close to the Santa Fe Plaza. The guy at the front desk was super welcoming. Room was quiet and clean and very well decorated. The complimentary breakfast was just perfect with fresh fruit, fresh sliced avocado, bacon, eggs, potatoes and much more. All with a live piano player in the dining area. Short walk to the Plaza. Will stay here again when we return.
I recently filed a claim against Inn in Vanessie with the Santa Fe Better Business Bureau for false and misleading business practices. For beginners they show amenities on their website that are not even offered: there is no restaurant, no bar, no fitness club. This is FALSE ADVERTISING to present products and services that are not even available? and hasn't been available for some time. Nevertheless, they have the gall to calculate an exorbitant $30 daily resort fee. Did we stay in many resorts over the years? Inn at Vanessie is not a resort. Not even close. In addition to the lack of amenities I already mentioned, there is also no pool, no hot tub, no spa. Regarding continental breakfast, there was nothing more than sweet snacks purchased at Costco or another store. Here is a short list: Brownie bites, cakes, cinnamon rolls, cookies Cream and strawberry yogurt, and sweet Granola bars. How about PLAIN YOGURT and not with the sugary options? The only fresh fruit was apples that were soft and fed. In fact, there was not a feedable healthy item on the table, which meant that we had to pay for breakfast every day, which added to the cost of our vacation. Maybe this is found for the many negative reviews recently online. In essence, Inn at Vanessie invites guests for amenities they can't? or not? offer what is misleading and deceptive. On October 19, I sent the inn by e-mail and asked for a refund of $120 for our 4-day stay, and there was no answer. There is no owner to speak and the managers in service are no help at all. It is shameful (and possibly illegal) that they continue to tear people out by dishonest about their resort amenities, therefore this review. You do not recognize emails and do not seem to care about customer service. Management?s indifferent posture should be a red flag for future travelers looking at this property. We would never stay here again or recommend it. Should you? I regret it.
