Great food and service! The music provided by Dadou was a very pleasant addition!
The first thing you see upon entering the restaurant is a space resembling a little French store. We were greeted promptly with a smile and shown to our table. We shared onion soup and crab cakes as appetizers; both were good, but under seasoned. For dinner we had steak tartare and salmon. Very good. Service was excellent all through the dinner and when our waitress told us the new desserts on the top of the dessert menu were her favorite in all of France, we ordered all three. The chocolate dessert was excellent! The apple dessert with ice cream was delicious , but the crust was tough and needed a knife which our waitress immediately brought when she saw the difficulty. The third one, a lemon pastry, was tart and very good. I meant to take pictures, but sadly my phone battery died. This restaurant is still a little new; please I’ve it a try; it deserves the time to become excellent!
It wasn’t as crowded as it might have been on a Saturday night, but the scallops I had and my partner’s cheeseburger were delicious. I hope Le Pommier can staff up soon so they can reopen I for lunch.
What a lovely place and amazing food. Small problems can be corrected. It was soooo cold we both dined with our coats on. Somewhat normal for me but not for my guy. Service was great until we were served and then the server went missing. Finally got up to look for her and was chatting at the bar over a laptop with the owner. I’ll go again because the food was top notch. Just concerned but worth a second try.
