Ancient Peaks Winery - Santa Margarita

Had the curry chicken salad and the Chardonnay. It was delicious. The staff was friendly.

Came to have lunch and wine after the Morro Bay triathlon. Lovely lunch pork pulled sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. Tried five wines and got a bottle. Staff were well informed and friendly. Even met Carl, one of the owners?, and had a lovely chat. Definitely will be back.

Terrific experience—more like family returning to family! Gabriel is a gem, devoted, energetic, and caring about us and the wines. Carl, one of the owners, came out and spent time with us and also showed how much he appreciated our visit. We met other staff who exhibited a warm love for Ancient Peaks Wine and those like us who appreciate that this fine comes from dedication and love.

Savannah was absolutely amazing! Customer service was rocky in the beginning with the greeter and the 1st waiter. For whatever reason Savanah took over and completely flipped our experience around for the best. Thank you Savanah for aamazing customer service. Moving onto the food...WOW. DELICIOUS. Pictured is the tri-tip sandwich, fig and brie Hamburger and the curried chicken salad. All very delicious.

Love the charming tasting room and our server Savannah was knowledgeable and charming. Highly recommend for lunch
