If you're in the mood for a little seafood, pork sliders, or a light salad, and cocktails you're in the right spot. The Valencia paella is very delicious!Food: 5/5
Hello I'm proud to say that terrisa and John are the sweetest and nicest people to work with. The food looks really good, the people I have worked with are awesome and I highly recommend eating and working here with these amazing people! Thank you so much for having me here and I look forward to seeing you all soon! ?
I thought it was odd that this establishment was completely empty at noon on a summer Sunday; however, after the experience I had it’s not surprising at all.1) The server was less than friendly and had the flattest affect.2) every entree came out 5-10 minutes apart, as though there was one person making each entree individually. People were done eating before everyone had their food. The food was okay, nothing particularly impressive, but also not terrible. Medium at best.3) I ordered a **** Mary, and it was hands down the worst **** Mary I’ve ever had. The mix was sour and lacked flavor and/or any garnish.4) the server had the audacity to add gratuity for a “party of 6.” There were three adults, two children and a baby that remained in a car seat/carrier on the ground, because the establishment has no high chairs. Considering the baby to be dining individual, in order to add gratuity, was a stretch. All of the adults were servers all through college, so gratuity wasn’t the issue. In fact, the server would have received more, had she not added it.5) we asked to split the bill evenly on three cards, and were told they can only run two cards.Overall, it was was an awful experience. Which explains why it was completely dead on a busy summer Sunday. Everything around had extended wait times and crowds of people and this establishment didn’t have any patrons the entire time we were there. Highly recommend you eat elsewhere
What an amazing brunch! We arrived upon opening and were greeted with smiles and treated like locals. The lobster benedict was out of this world! Definitely stop in and try out their menu. Ask for the special of the day, as the menu changes every few weeks!Food: 5/5
A Whirlwind of Flavors, Fun, and a Few Hurdles at La Bodega Tapas! If you 're in the mood for a culinary adventure, La Bodega Tapas is the place to be! Brace yourself for a rollercoaster ride of flavors that will leave your taste buds begging for more. While the food alone is reason enough to visit, let 's dive into the thrilling experience I had, complete with a slow-motion waiter and an owner who must have moonlighted as a fire-breathing dragon!First things first, let 's talk about the food. Oh boy, the food! La Bodega Tapas has mastered the art of delivering mouthwatering Spanish delights that dance on your palate. From the sizzling gambas to the heavenly paella, every dish is a symphony of flavors that 'll make your taste buds do the flamenco. So, don 't even think about leaving without trying their tantalizing tapas! Now, let 's address the speed of service. Picture this: a sloth leisurely strolling across a tightrope. That 's the pace at which our dear waiter decided to operate. It felt like time had decided to take a vacation while we waited for our orders. But hey, in a world where everything is fast-paced, maybe this was their way of reminding us to slow down and savor the moment. Patience is a virtue, right? Now, brace yourself for the owner, who clearly believes in the saying, We do can we can do! This person must have mastered the art of rudeness because their expertise was truly mind-boggling. Their icy glares could freeze the flames on a grilled octopus, and their snappy comebacks were sharper than a chef 's knife. But hey, maybe they 've just had one too many chili peppers that day! If you 're lucky, you might witness a fiery showdown between the owner and a customer. It 's like dinner theater, but with extra spice!Despite the waiter 's tortoise-like speed and the owner 's fiery demeanor, the location of La Bodega Tapas is simply splendid. Tucked away in a charming corner of the city, it exudes an old-world charm that adds to the overall experience. The cozy ambiance, rustic décor, and warm lighting make you feel like you 've stumbled upon a hidden treasure. So, grab a seat, enjoy the atmosphere, and maybe even place a bet on whether your food will arrive before the next millennium.Tips for fellow adventurers:Bring your patience cap and wear it proudly. Slow service can be an opportunity to practice your mindfulness skills.Treat the owner 's fiery temper as a game. See how long you can keep your cool before you burst into laughter (or flames).Embrace the chaos! The rollercoaster experience is all part of the fun. Just make sure to hold on tight to your sangria! In conclusion, La Bodega Tapas is an enigmatic culinary gem that will leave you with stories to tell. The food is absolutely worth it, but be prepared for the waiter 's snail-like pace and the owner 's fire-breathing tendencies. Take it all in stride, enjoy the fantastic location, and let the experience unfold like a theatrical masterpiece. And remember, at La Bodega Tapas, they do can they can do!¡Olé!
