I was thrilled to find that the salsa was delightfully spicy—something that’s hard to come by in many Mexican restaurants. When the server brought the chips and salsa, I asked if it was the hottest option. To my surprise, she returned with a spicier salsa, and just before my meal arrived, she presented yet another salsa that had a comfortable, yet noticeable heat. My dish was quite spicy, and the table was equipped with five different hot sauces—two of which I recognized and three that were new to me. I sampled the new ones, and they added a fantastic flair to my meal. For those seeking truly authentic Mexican cuisine in a vibrant setting, this is definitely the place to visit.

I ordered the chimichanga, and it was delicious! It was also quite generous in size. The tamarind juice was excellent as well! Overall, the prices are very affordable.

We stopped by this restaurant unexpectedly during our midday journey to Big Sur, and I'm so glad we did. The food was delicious, including the chips and salsa. They just need to improve their service organization a bit since the waitstaff seemed to be all over the place. The place was quite busy, which is always a good sign. Overall, it was definitely worth the stop!

Wow this place is amazing. Small restaurant but lots of authentic Mexican food. I had the fried mojara was amazing. So crispy everywhere. Beans and rice so good. The chips and salsa they give you at the beginning just right. Has heat but not to much were you can't taste the food. I had a michelada too. On point. If you ever wanna eat real authentic Mexican food come here. Will definitely be back
