Wok-xaca - SANTA MARÍA COLOTEPEC

This place has their business hours printed on the front of the building and on google as being open at 2pm so I have taken a taxi all the way here before and all the way straight back home bc they weren’t open during their listed business hours. Google says they’re open too when they aren’t bc they do not bother to change it when they randomly decide not to open for the day. I made a date night with my gf here once too and we went all the way there and again they were just there hanging out there but told us they were not open for business and this was on an evening that they were supposed to be open according to their advertised business hours. I cannot review the food here but here is my review for the establishment.

Took my partner here for his last night here and he had the ginger chicken and I had the green curry. Both were delicious. The green curry has a nice bite to it and the ginger chicken was full of flavor. Make sure you try this place!

Service was so nice!, delicious made at the moment food, took a while but it’s appreciated when food is made at the moment with fresh ingredients, drinks were delicious too, very good mexican beach ambiente!!!, really enjoyed our dinner with the nice view!, loved having Thai straight at the beach!!!!, will definitely come back when at Puerto!!

We enjoyed a meal there but the food was not the best Thai food we ever ate. Still pretty good for a small Mexican beach town. Wait staff were great with the drinks. Not a place you want to eat in a hurry as takes time to prepare each dish.

Just had an amazing dinner with my family in Wok-xaca. The restaurant honors the slow food movement which promotes pleasure, knowledge and gastronomy. Each dish is prepared individually and at the moment you order it. Amazing curries and ginger chicken! The chef has the best stories of how he learned to cook in Hungary and the waiter couldn’t be nicer! Great place to pass an afternoon since it is front beach and has awesome drinks!!
