Carmesí Cocina Fusión - Santa Marta

A small jewel in the heart of santa marta. cozy restaurant with beautiful murals as decoration. eating is a great fusion of Caribbean oriented that made contemporary. I was particularly impressed with the smoked salmon both in presentation and in taste. they also make great cocktails. prices are good in terms of quality and size. it is family owned and operated and they can certainly see and taste the love set in the dishes and service.

This new restaurant was the biggest surprise of my trip. during the walk in the inner city after a place to dinner, this place was found that caught my eye from outside for its impeccable design and art directly in the entrance. I had the gnocchi and my partner the Caldoso rice and both were above the top. that dessert made these dishes fair. this restaurant has all my recommended when they have a really tasty and not pretentious dinner, given the quality price relationship.

Highly recommended! we came for a few drinks and stayed for a second dinner. the mojitos de maracuyá were delicious! we had the pork-slee, the pumpkin and cheese ravioli and the hot cookie dessert. everything was perfect!

Great atmosphere, fantastic service and superb food. Their Carmesi gin cocktail was the best drink I’ve had in Santa Marta and the staff made our last night in town very special would highly recommend this restaurant.
