Donde Amalia - Santa Marta

In the Rodarero district of Santa Marta this was by far the best bang for your buck. Small menu that changed daily and offered both alcarte and pre fixed options. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner that goes for around $4usd which includes a soup, salad, rice, beans, yucca, a protein, and drink. One can choose the add side dishes which range from .33 to .75 cents usd. They take credit card which gave the best conversion of usd to pesos which at time was 3200 to 1. Everything was prepared in semi open air kitchen, which let's people see that its liked eating a home cooked meal.

This place is amazing. The food is sooo tasted. You can see when someone cook with love. I’ll be back here for sure and totally recommend

It’s always packed for a reason. We ate here twice during our 3 days in Santa Marta. Delicious food!!
