The second time we came here, it was even better than we remembered. we have dinner and dessert. I write this now when we finish the last bit of the sublime confection. to eat, get the tacos! they are from this world and a real taste bomb! I can't get enough about her. also order the eat the rainbow, which is with injera and is traditional Ethiopian fabulous. see our clean plates had the cook and owner, she was the sweetest.

One of the best Ethiopian places I have been to! The owner is a very creative lady and an inventor of amazing food. Her take on Ethiopian American fusion is just unbelievable and takes an already delicious cuisine to another level. Every single item we ordered here was amazingly delicious. All of us were mindblown multiple times when she brought out the dishes!The veggie burger was the best vegetarian burger the 4 of us in our party have ever eaten! The owner invented the patty and the burger, and mentioned how she does not use fake meat patties because she does not like the taste of them. We were excited when we were ordering it hearing this, and were again mindblown after the first bite. Same can be said about the green smoothie and the various other items we ordered there.Overall a must visit restaurant if you are in the Santa Monica area and are up for an experience. You will not be disappointed.

Very cute inside, lots of space, order at counter style. Departure from a traditional Ethiopian restaurant experience but their versions of the Ethiopian dishes were excellent and unique in their interpretations. The bunna coffee had lemon peel and rue berries which gave it a floral taste maybe a little bit similar to chai. Totally unique and delicious. Extra points since it’s all plant based vegan.

Insanely good tacos !!!!! The spices just amazing !!!! Never tasted anything like it. I have no idea what I ate but this is what I want as my last meal if it ever comes to that. I’m hooked and will have to come here now all the time. Super nice staff too.

To me, this restaurant represents the best of Californian culture. The food seamlessly blends a bunch of cuisines together to come up with something interesting and unique. It's fresh, colorful, and healthy: you can just taste the optimism. Did I mention it's also delicious?
