I ordered the scallop for the main course and lamb chop for my husband. I had one bit and realized it has bacon in it and I do not eat bacon. The young lady took it back and replaced with the Mahi-Mahi curry which was delicious. The lamb chop was tender and tasty. For dessert we both had chocolate cake with olive oil and it was so good. I will definitely come back and recommend to my friends. Our compliment to the chef and grateful to our server to make my dinner experience wonderful!
The Dine la menu is absolutely not worth it. The appetizer strawberry salad was probably the best out of 3 other options offered. The main meal scallops 3 pieces served on top of very very sour sauerkraut bad choice! You really need some bread to eat this sour sauerkraut! The 2 toasted pieces of bread no one asked to toast them! was served after 3 reminders. Chocolate desert was the worse one we ever had and we are the chocolate lovers. The $49 Dine LA is outrageous for this food. I would rather this menu offered a tasty chicken or fish instead of scallops but prepared correctly.
My experience at MARGO's with my dog was fantastic. Not only was the food great, but the service was also excellent (shoutout to TIA!!). The restaurant is incredibly dog-friendly and welcoming to all guests. It's a rare gem in Santa Monica. Amazing experience!
Margot’s treated our tiny wedding party with easy, warm hospitality. This establishment doesn’t need to compete with the hoity-toity’s on the Montana strip. It makes a statement with well conceived menu and a stylish, welcoming ambience at a price most can afford. Margot is as my new go-to spot for a casual dining or to show off to out-of-towners. The burger is totally boss. The tartare is a party in your mouth. The cod is exotic, earthy and original. And our cocktails were artfully and classically made. Brava!
Went for happy hour. Service was typical of my past few experiences—cheerful but distracted. Hostess was surprised we had a reservation, then equally surprised to find an available table. Service was fine; the mussels were excellent.
