There's a new location just east of the previous one, situated on Wilshire near Princeton. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly and excellent. I'm a big fan of the Pad Kee Mao!
If you're in search of quick, casual, and budget-friendly Thai food, then Thai Dishes is the spot for you. The cuisine has a home-cooked feel with a wide variety of options. Overall, it's a decent choice, especially if you take advantage of their lunch specials or are looking for a late-night bite. The service can be fast-paced. However, the interior has a somewhat dated, 80s vibe and may not feel completely clean, but it's generally acceptable.
So far, this is the best Thai restaurant I've discovered. I'm not overly particular about my Thai cuisine, but I've often been let down by several Thai places in Santa Monica. However, at Thai Dishes on Wilshire, I've never had a bad experience. This isn't the case for some other locations of Thai Dishes, but I've enjoyed both dining in and takeout here and found both to be satisfying.
Absolutely the best Thai food in town! I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken soup and Panang Curry. The chicken noodle soup features a clear broth and rice noodles, which makes it incredibly refreshing. The flavors are delightful, and every bite is a treat!
