I ordered the breakfast burrito. Oh my goodness! It was delicious!! The flavor of the fresh tortilla was an experience! even make fresh butter! My mom ordered Chilaquiles. The poached eggs on top were topped with a fresh cream. She ate the entire plate! We had a wonderful host, Allen. He took care of two seniors, two adults, two teens, and a toddler. He really cared about us as guest at his table. On our way out we met one of the owners, Ryan Ramey. He let me capture a pic with him, in front of the restaurant he and his wife started. The experience was wonderful! Go eat at Americana, this is what food should taste like!Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegan options. The staff really take great care of their customers! You could tweet your order to fit your dietary needs.Dietary restrictions: I did no meat, breakfast burrito. It’s was beyond my expectations! It was so flavorful! The homemade tortillas were and extra treat!Parking: I used the paid parking lot just across the street. It was $1 per hour, and and close by.
The location is good with parking nearby. That said we decided to stop by for dinner by a family member who recommended it. In hindsight they went for breakfast which could be good, but steer clear for dinner. The ranch burger was cooked well and the bun was soft but was VERY under seasoned. I salted it myself and even then it landed very bland. The ranch was also very disappointing. Very thin consistency, something more akin to dill milk is what I jokingly called it (not really joking). The onion rings were good but paired with the watery ranch, I was underwhelmed. The Cobb salad was good minus the chicken which suffered the same fate of under seasoning. We ordered the espresso martini and is someone who gets these very often at many restaurants around Sonoma county this was by far the most disappointing. It was served in a wine glass and tasted more like iced coffee mixed with vanilla creamer or coffee liquor. For price I highly recommend not bothering.Overall it was not a good experience, culminating with the bill being wrong (a $20 item on our receipt that we did not order) so check your receipts.
We had a reservation and were seated quickly. We ordered drinks. I had wine and my husband ordered an expresso martini. It arrived in a wine glass looking like a cafe latte.Rather than let us know when we seated that there were no hamburgers, meatloaf or corn dogs all staples of the menu, the waitress waited until we were ready to order. We should have left at that point and walked across the street to Jackson’s. Instead we chose menu items that were available and had a just alright dining experience.
Every time I have come to eat here I never leave disappointed. The food is fantastique as well as the service. I’ve always had an amazing waiter/waitress. I really enjoy that the chefs will come and socialize with the customers as well. Definitely one of my favorites!!Vegetarian options: Americana has a great selection of vegetarian options from the salads to the omelettes to their mushroom melt.Kid-friendliness: Great with kids
The food here was very satisfying. The staff went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable and they were very friendly.Really enjoyed both the mushroom melt and the greek salad (even though it wasn't a traditional greek salad). The greek salad doesn't come with the chicken in the picture, I added that on. Also they gave about double the salad pictured, I gave half to my friend.I enjoyed the fries, but they weren't crispy enough for my friend.Love that they give pitchers of water for self pouring.
