They’d be pretty good If it wasn’t for them always forgetting what toppings I asked for or the fact they burn my pizza all the time so that I have to wait for them to re make it. Maybe don’t smoke a joint on your lunch and you’ll be fine Mombos.
Santa Rosa location Came in about 9:45 pm on a Tuesday after all restaurants in Calistoga were closed. Surprisingly busy for the time. Pepperoni slice was quite good.. not NY good but worth the 30 min drive. Should have ordered a second of that but sadly, tried a slice of the Hawaiian.. big disappointment. Let me say the toppings are very generous, which I love! I don’t know how many times the Hawaiian had been reheated but the cheese had a weird consistency, it was basically served barely warm (unlike the pepperoni slice) and the crust was weirdly doughy… not in a good way, sort of spongy (not so with the other slice). I’d definitely try their pizza again Where I’m less than impressed is HOW LOUD it is in here. I’m probably aging myself here but the music was so loud in the restaurant, the benches were vibrating and even the young woman taking orders on the phone had to ask that it be turned down. It was obnoxious and made it impossible to sit in and enjoy the food. Needed to get out as quickly as possible as my head was starting to hurt. That coupled with every square inch of space covered with giant LED TV screens (13 of them in a 24’ x 10 ft space… it makes dining-in really unpleasant. I don’t get it. It’s not a bar.. sure, have a couple tvs for sports games or tomorrow whatever but anyone wanting to have a conversation with a dinner companion/friends/family is S.O.L. Would never return and would not recommend to friends.
Mediocre pizza, thin, lacking cheese and flavor. Quality is similar to a frozen pizza except it's pricey. The cashier unwittingly touched the pizza slices perhaps for temperature. However, it’s a convenient place if you want a quick take-out slice since they have different pizza slices ready for take out.
Ordered over the phone and was told it would be 30 minutes to get my order which is fine. Arrived for my pickup and was told it would be about 15 more mintues...which eventually turned into 30. So an hour later I finally got my food. Our pizza was burnt, salad was old and my wings were the wrong sauce. I had family waiting otherwise would have walked out. No one ever apologized for the wait. I will not be visiting Mombos again.
