Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Santa Rosa

The last time I visited, I ordered popcorn shrimp, but it had a spoiled smell. I decided to give Popeyes another try and ordered my favorite, the flounder sandwich, along with mashed potatoes and gravy. The sandwich was great, and it was actually too big for me to finish in one sitting. I really enjoyed the Cajun gravy with the mashed potatoes!

The drive-thru staff member was quite rude and seemed ill-equipped for a customer service role. When I inquired about the sauces available for the nuggets on the menu, I was instructed to move forward to get that information. The employee merely pointed to a sign listing the sauces and then walked away. To make things worse, I noticed a young man returning from his break with his hands in his pants. By the time I was halfway down the freeway, I realized they hadn’t included any sauces in the bag. Ugh, I certainly won't be returning.

This location is having difficulty getting orders correct, paying attention to what is actually ordered, and charging accurately. Not only did I end up paying for someone else's order, but I also received an order that was far less than what I had paid for and requested. It appears that there is a need for improvement in listening skills and communication.

We decided to give it another try and ordered sauces both at the ordering box and again at the window, yet we received none in the bag, despite multiple meals. The price was also shocking—$16 for a three-piece meal, and one of the strips was no bigger than a ketchup packet. All the chicken strips we received were incredibly thin and mostly breading. What has happened to this place? Also, I couldn’t help but notice a guy walking around with his hands in his pants while working—quite unprofessional!

I spent $70 on a family dinner and was shocked to find that they charged $4 for just a 2 oz side of gravy. Really? That amount is barely enough for a serving of mashed potatoes. I've seen larger portions that come with a $7 side. I won't be coming back to this restaurant; it just feels like a complete rip-off.
