It is the only California vineyard with acreage in both Sonoma and Napa counties! The mountain drive of about 20 minutes to reach the vineyard was beautiful and the view from the top is breathtaking! We visited all aspects of the vineyard and it's facilities with Mark as our tour guide and I can not say enough about his knowledge, patience, and kindness! We learned sooo much about the entire process and tasted great wines along the way during the tour. This was definitely the highlight of our entire visit to Napa Valley!
This has been my favorite wine tasting in Napa so far. It was a local suggestion to us during a tasting at another winery. Krista was so amazing! Loved her personality and welcoming attitude to a tasting experience. She did not make you feel like you were beneath her because you didn’t know the great deal she knows about wine. Very fun and enjoyable experience and got her card to come back and book with her again. The wine was so great. I didn’t have one I didn’t care for and bought a couple of bottles. The grounds were beautiful and loved the cave tour. Thank you for such a great time and will see you all again in the future!
The drive up is totally worth it! You will not be disappointed. We weren't sure what to expect but had the most phenomenal experience! We did the estate experience that included tastings and tour of the winery. Mark our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The wine was amazing and so difficult to choose what to buy and bring home. Everything just felt very special.
As a novice wine drinker, I didn’t have much knowledge of what to taste, look for or say about what I tasted. This was our first stop when we got to Napa, and our tour guide made it all the more special. I thought I might be judged or feel out of place, but I was welcomed with open arms and given plenty of knowledge of how to taste and drink their wines. We needed up buying multiple bottles to ship home. I can not twist to return the next time we make this trip.
Of the 50+ wineries I've been to in the Valley, Pride is easily my favorite one. The property and caves are stunning. The guides are fun, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. The price is right. And the wines are exceptional!Special thanks to Paul and Jay for leading me on several memorable group tours over the years and teaching me something new with every visit. If you haven't been to Pride yet, you're definitely missing out!
