Tony's Of North Beach - Santa Rosa

This location does not live up to the original. The pizza could have been decent if it had been served hot. The Margherita was lukewarm and became soggy from sitting on the server's plate for too long. Our server was unfamiliar with the beers on the menu. The large space aims for a fine dining atmosphere, but the setup just doesn't work.

This restaurant is currently offering breakfast seven days a week, but this is a temporary arrangement. Breakfast is served from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., after which they close for an hour and reopen at 11:30 a.m. for lunch and dinner. I had the avocado toast with sautéed mushrooms on the side, along with a cup of coffee, and everything was delicious. The service was quick, and there was no waiting to get in, with plenty of seating available! I'd also like to mention that as a non-smoker, I didn't detect any smoke inside the restaurant at all.

I had the worst lasagna I've ever tasted at this restaurant. I used to love coming here, but now I'm feeling quite disappointed. The dish was cold and seemed to have been microwaved. The meat had an unpleasant, mushy texture, almost like baby food. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan and mentioned that the noodles were tough. We won't be returning.

I come here often, dine at the bar, and continually experience great service. I always get just their polenta, paired with an old vine zin, and it's delicious and super filling every time. Since it's a side (albeit very large portioned), it's quite inexpensive for the quality, so I'll have a great supper without spending too much. Thank you

Food here is always excellent. Highly recommend for lunch and dinner. Had the spicy dungeness crab and shrimp pasta with the garlic bread this last time through and both I highly recommend. They also serve a few local Sonoma County beers. I had the Moonlight Death and Taxes this last time as well, which is always solid. We will definitely be back. Cheers.
