I’ve been coming to first watch for a few years now as it’s my favorite breakfast/brunch place in the area. The food is amazing and the staff are especially friendly! Shoutout to Richard! He’s been my waiter the past few times and he’s a great employee and cares about all his guests.Food: 5/5
The food was excellent, a little pricey. The server was on point and our coffee never ran out. Over all it was a great experience Vegetarian options: My go to is butter grits English muffin and sliced tomatoes and home fries. This is making me hungry just thinking about it ?Dietary restrictions: Severely allergic to meat and meat by products, dairy and seafood.
The food was good, but there are many areas that could be improved. I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
TLDR: Delicious food, slower service, some communication situations. We went at 11:45 am on a Sunday. There was a 5-10 minute wait for a party of two. We sat at a communal table, but the other party was relatively separated from us. Our drinks came quickly, the food took some time. We ordered the Biscuits with Turkey Saudage Gray meal, The Works Omlette, and The Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast (summer special). The food probably took 30 minutes to make it to us. Our table mates, who arrived after us, received their food first. The food itself was delicious. The French toast was AMAZING, highly recommend! My husband loved his omlette. My biscuit was really good, my scrambled eggs did not seem like two (more like one). The potatoes are well seasoned. We were not aware that you pay at the front, so we sat waiting for our server to tell us. That would have been a good thing to mention as he dropped off the check. I ran out of drink, after eating a very peppery bite of potatoes. It took want felt like a long time for our server to notice.
