Costco Food Court - Santee

I’m giving this restaurant 2 stars because their pizza is always swimming in grease. We often dine here as a family, and the low price (under $10) is definitely a plus. However, the pizza from the Santee Costco is a big disappointment. Every single time, without exception, there's a pool of grease on the pizza. It drips off and is just unappetizing! Additionally, about 60% of the time, the cheese is in the right place, but the other 40% of the time, a large part of the pizza has only a single cheese bubble. It’s really frustrating because, despite knowing this, we once ordered pizza for a party and had the same disappointing experience. So now, we just stick to hot dogs when we visit, which is unfortunate for our pizza-loving family. In fact, we often go to a different Costco just to enjoy a decent slice of pizza.

I usually understand that the Costco snack bar can be quite busy, so I’m patient when I order pizza. However, I’ve been waiting for an hour now, and they’ve tried to call me twice on the phone (I could hear all the background noise before they hung up). I've called them 27 times, and each time they either hang up on me or don’t respond.

I've had many positive experiences at this Costco, but today was not one of them. The older female employee who cut the pizza was rude and not very helpful. Although the food area wasn't busy, we waited 40 minutes for our pizza, and when it finally arrived, it was poorly cut. On the bright side, the pizza was hot and fresh.

You'll wait here for an eternity for a piece of pizza. Other Costcos seem to have the most bustling problem. Hopefully, the bad comments will pay some attention to get it together. Avoid if you

The $10 Pepperoni pizza is beyond good and the best price. Juicy and greasy like a NY pizza. It's beyond delicious! Just order a large ahead of time because you will wait if you go and order right away. So good! They blocked Non Costco customer. Screw them!
