A Porta Verde - Santiago de Compostela

As a vegetarian I like vegetarian restaurants. But I have to admit most of them are run by enthusiasts rather than experts. Not this one. 100% professional: the food, the service, the decor. Tuesday lunchtime and over twenty people were seated, most of them apparently regulars. They are doing something right. Well, everything!

We had lunch at this restaurant when trying to find a change from the Galician food and were super happy. I had a falafel burger and my wife had the Vietnamese noodles and both were delicious. The one waitress working was really nice and very helpful. While having lunch we met a couple from the UK who had been there for dinner the night before.

Really excellent vegan food, in an area of Spain where it's not particularly easy to be vegan! Comida muy rica, alta calidad a buen precio.

Un sitio acogedor y agradable donde comer muy buena comida vegana. Me pedí un tex mex bowl que estaba riquisimo y súper completo a nivel nutricional. El tiramisú era espectacular! La atención, excelente; fui a Santiago por trabajo y me senté a cenar en este restaurante como si estuviera en casa. Muy agradable. Además, bastante cerca de la Catedral. Si sois veganos y estáis por Santiago, no os lo podéis perder!

Este restaurante es un diamante vegano. Una auténtica maravilla a la par con los grandes restaurantes. Ojalá que todo el mundo pudiera probar esta culinaria tan mágica. Bravo al equipo y su calidad tanto humana como sabrosa a más no poder. 10 estrellas y todas las posibles!
