Ventosela - Santiago de Compostela

Really cool place, great atmosphere and lots of fun…. Excellent wine options and really good charcuterie. Excellent service and lots of space outside too

We wanted an authentic tapas and wine experience and had noticed how busy this place was the previous evening so we made a beeline there the following evening. We weren 't disappointed. The owner is business like but friendly and I think appreciated our attempts at Spanish when ordering. He insisted we sample the wine first and gave us mini tapas to go with our wine which were delicious. We also ordered tapas from the chalk board and our plates were simple but really tasty. If you are in Santiago and want to experience a more authentic meal than the 'tourist traps ' I can really recommend Vinoteca Ventosela.

Although located close to the Cathedral the tapa's, wine, and beer were above the usual tourist fare you find near a must see tourist attraction. Our first visit was good enough to make us return for a second equally enjoyable time.

Maybe my favorite santiago site. a good variety of wines, a very good advice. the best: they bring you with your glass of wine a tablet of excellent quality sausages and a very good bread. super recommended site

Mandatory stop to take some canes. excellent variety of Iberian sausages in which you put a mini-tablilla with consumption. I love it.
