Very quiet and comfortable. Alex is great host. Has hot water! Great WiFi. Breakfast and coffee both excellent. Nice neighborhood, many restaurants close by. Satellite TV has a few stations from U.S.A.

Great place to stay!! Friendly staff. This place makes you feel superior. Language friendly here. I wish I can rate this place higher than 5 stars. Highly recommended for a stay here in Santiago.

Will be returning. 2-week DR stay, at 7 hotels...Emilia B&B was my favorite hotel. Great staff; easy-going, safe area; close to downtown Santiago (5 min, $3 taxi).

Nice cozy little B&B with only 4 rooms. Rooms are a nice size room 2 has a large walk-in closet area with person restroom. Full size beds with clean linen. Bath and hand towels with small soap, shampoo and conditioner in restroom. Good thing I brought my own face cloth! The staff are really nice, pleasant and attentive. Room are not cleaned everyday, however, you can request a cleaning. Very modest accommodation, they serve a free continental breakfast every morning. NO EATING IN ROOMS! They also have a menu to order from during your stay. You can purchase water, beer, and soda. Tiny nuisance bugs (not ants... not bed bugs !!! will follow food. Food can be stored in the common area fridge. No safe deposit box for items. Room has cable TV with spanish and english channels. Room has AC unit (very quite) and fan to stay cool. GREAT WIFI!!! Simple door key and lock. However, there is usually 1 staff member there at all times. The entrance is a gate with lock. If they leave, the front door is solid with a digital lock which is attached to your key. Not a lot of traffic. Bonus KFC is right on the corner and ice cream parlor. Beauty salon/ nails 2 doors down. Nice cozy and very friendly family business.

Can't speak very enough of El Emilia! The reception staff is so friendly and accommodating. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable with great ac. The included breakfast is delicious on the open terrace. It is peaceful and quiet, perfect for a few nights on the way to your destination! Also very affordable!
