Retiro Do Escova - Santiago Do Cacem

Delightful family meal in this restaurant in august 2022. Large family group of ten, comprising adults and teenage children. Small, local, menu of a very high standard catering to all tastes. Deserts were highlight. Great wine and great service. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is a real hidden gem in Santiago do Cacém. The food is amazing and the service was outstanding. 5* recommended. The portions were really big and the staff went the extra mile to make sure we were all happy. There were some people in the group that were allergic to gluten and vegetarian and they made sure everyone would have an amazing meal. Thank you :

We came early a bit past 7pm, but was greeted with a warm smile by the very friendly host/owner. He gave us a fine translation of the short but good menu. The bacalau is fantastic as us the wine of the house. We recommend it strongly
