Pes Verdes Casa De Cha - Sao Miguel

Owner is super sweet, almost everything is vegan. beautiful rooptop garden. super chilled atmosphere. I think they've been closed, because I haven't seen them with their doors that opened all summer.

Our vegetarian family was very hungry in the not-so-veg-friendly Azores and we were looking forward to our meal here. It is really more of a tea house, without any substantial meals. The wrap was fine but used canned ingredients. We had a vegan kombucha brownie which wasn't so great. The kombucha was nice. The garden setting, free-roaming cats and people are definitely interesting. Parking is at the beach or church, about a block on either side of the restaurant.

Such a lovely place! We went there twice during our trip on Sao Miguel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, lovely roof garden area and yummy vegan cakes and snacks.

Really nice atmosphere and a wide range of teas and coffees. He has some light vegan snacks that are quite tasty! I'm definitely glad to have found at least one vegan place on the island. I recommend
