Meat quality here is on par with what you'd find in Australia, NZ, Argentina or Uruguay, really. Go for the Pobre Juan steak if this is your first time, it is perfectly executed. The baked heart palm is perfectly cooked as well. Helpful staff, very romantic ambience, clean bathrooms. Better than restaurants like Templo da Carne Bassi, NB Steak, Le Bife or Rubaiyat.
This was one of the most famous and well renowned meat restaurants in São Paulo with long queues to get in, until when as often happens it awkwardly fell out of love with the city. And obviously Covid did not help. Still, remains one of the best meat restaurants in town, in a city where eating good meat is almost a religious thing. So, please pay a visit and enjoy an outstanding meal, without being forced to wait for over an hour for your table. Wine list used to be remarkable, give it some time to recover from the Covid induced coma and it will be back with a vengeance.
Quiet in the evening on Wednesday, meat was excellent. I had Pobre Juan cut, which was both tender and flavorful. The risotto was very tasty. The service was also good. I recommend it.
A very good fine dining restaurant in Vila Olimpia area. Lots of steak options and sides. Had also the in house local beer, was really good
