You park part way and a van takes you to your destination. We have travelled extensively and this setting is up there in the top five in terms of uniqueness. Food was good and plentiful. Pricey, but on par with what you'd expect to pay in a large city in a restaurant with nothing close to the ambiance.
Went for dinner on Friday night. We didn't have a reservation so we had to wait a little but than got a table as the restaurant wasn't booked completely. Had the carpaccio as starter and then the fish of the day as well as the stuffed pulpo. All of it was very nice and tasty, so was the wine that we ordered. Didn't like the fact that they charged us for the cover (even though some restaurants in Brazil do) and when they brought more without asking, we got charged double. In such a high-priced restaurant I expect it to either be included or to be asked by the waiters once they bring a new one. The atmosphere is nice and it's a definitely a different experience to dine in the rain forest. Try to catch a little bit of daylight when you get there as you can't see very well anymore once it gets dark.
The restaurant is like a secret garden, surrounded by plants and flowers, it's so beautiful! We had really nice and relaxing lunch there. The Caipirinha da Casa is amazing, use honey instead of sugar! ????the service is also very good! Recommend to go~~
Incredible food - incredible jungle like place - no mosquitoes (i dont know how) - and full service. In my opinion - and after eating in a lot of them - Manaca is one of the best restaurants in the whole litoral.
One of the best restaurants on the state's coast. Great fresh seafood, attentive service. Although located in the Camburi beach of the São Sebastião município, it is closer to Bertioga.
